Controlled accessIndividual accounts and workspace permissions limit access to authorized users.
Purpose-limited processingWe use information to operate, secure, support and improve GEONAVIGATE.
Effective: September 19, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Statement explains how Chaser Geological (“Chaser,” “GEONAVIGATE,” “we,” “us” or “our”) handles personal information when you use the GEONAVIGATE Infinity website, desktop application, mobile application and related support services (collectively, the “Service”). It applies to account holders, authorized customer personnel, visitors and people who contact us about the Service.

Your organization may separately control the well, drilling, geological and business information its users place in GEONAVIGATE. In that situation, your organization determines who may access that information and may have its own privacy, confidentiality and records-management obligations.

2. Information we collect

Account and contact information

We may collect your name, business email address, company, role, authentication information, account status and communications with support or administrators. Passwords are handled through the Service’s authentication system and are not displayed to other users.

Customer and operational content

Authorized users may upload or create well identifiers, surveys, plans, LAS/CSV/XLSX data, striplogs, sample descriptions and images, interpretations, formation information, reports, handovers, team messages, WITS-derived data and other drilling or geological records. This content may contain names, notes or other information connected to identifiable personnel.

Technical and usage information

We may receive device, browser, operating-system, IP address, login, security, diagnostic and feature-usage information needed to operate and protect the Service. The desktop and mobile applications may store essential preferences, cached application files and draft data on the user’s device.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • create, authenticate, approve and administer individual accounts;
  • provide well-data, geosteering, striplog, reporting, collaboration and file-management features;
  • maintain project history, data integrity, backups and authorized access;
  • respond to support, security and account requests;
  • detect misuse, investigate incidents and protect users, customers and the Service;
  • monitor reliability and improve workflows, accessibility and performance; and
  • meet contractual, regulatory and legal obligations.

Where an authorized user invokes an AI-assisted feature, relevant prompts and selected content may be processed by the configured AI service to produce the requested output. Users should review AI-assisted output before relying on it for geological, drilling, safety or operational decisions.

4. When information is shared

We may share information with:

  • your organization and authorized collaborators, according to workspace permissions and project sharing choices;
  • service providers that supply hosting, storage, authentication, communications, security, analytics or AI-processing functions under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
  • professional advisers or transaction parties where reasonably necessary and subject to confidentiality; and
  • public authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security or the integrity of the Service.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer well data for third-party advertising.

5. Data location and cross-border processing

GEONAVIGATE and its service providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States or other jurisdictions where they operate. Information processed outside your province or country may be subject to the laws and lawful-access requirements of that jurisdiction. We use contractual, organizational and technical measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain personal information and customer content for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, maintain required operational and audit records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and meet legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the type of record, customer instructions and applicable requirements. Authorized administrators may remove content within available controls. Backup or security copies may remain for a limited period before scheduled deletion.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Service, including individual authentication, access controls, encrypted network connections and restricted service-provider access. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their credentials, using approved devices and networks, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.

8. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and any responsibilities of your employer or contracting organization, you may request access to or correction of your personal information, ask questions about its use, withdraw consent where consent is the applicable basis, or request deletion. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, contractual or operational-record requirements. You may also control certain device storage through browser or operating-system settings, although disabling essential storage may prevent parts of the Service from working.

9. Cookies and local storage

The Service may use essential cookies, session identifiers and local storage to keep users signed in, protect accounts, remember interface preferences, preserve drafts and support application performance. We do not use customer well data for behavioural advertising.

10. Children

GEONAVIGATE is a professional service intended for authorized business users. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Service.

11. Changes to this statement

We may update this statement as the Service, legal requirements or our data practices change. The current version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.
